Hansa Biopharma is a fast-growing biopharmaceutical company developing novel immunomodulatory enzymes for rare indications within transplantation and acute autoimmune diseases. The lead candidate drug, imlifidase, is a proprietary antibody-cleaving enzyme in late-stage clinical development, that potentially may enable kidney transplantation in highly sensitized patients. Imlifidase may have additional potential medical applications in other solid organ transplants and in acute autoimmune indications. In Europe, we are preparing for the first product launch for the company. Following a potential approval by the European Commission during the summer 2020 the company is foreseeing a launch in the second half of 2020.
Can you make a difference working with a highly innovative ultra-orphan treatment in Europe and beyond? To drive health technology assessments in EU and further markets as well as communicate, generate and implement further health economic evidence.
In this position you will report to the Head of Global Market Access and work very closely with Head of Market Access Europe.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of HTA and early access submissions in European countries
- Work closely with Head of Market Access EU to develop value strategy, messaging, pricing and tactics
- Build partnerships with stakeholders around Europe
- Manage Health economic evidence, generation activities and projects
- Identify and analyze published and internal clinical and economic data
- Support publication planning, management of abstract development and appropriate review.
- Drive competitive intelligence on payer assessments and reimbursement decisions.
- Stay current on methods used in the health economic research area
- Develop effective communication and information flow
Education:
Professional Qualifications:
- A deep understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotech pricing, reimbursement and HTA processes and health policy, in multiple healthcare systems, especially in European markets
- A strong track-record within EU market access and hands-on country level involvement in economic models and submission dossiers
- Demonstrated strong skills in data analysis and evidence generation
- Hands-on experience from HTA planning, submission dossiers and interaction
- Market Access experience, ideally orphan/rare disease therapeutics
- Clinical knowledge – ability to identify and articulate unmet needs and burden of disease with an ability to leverage these
- Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships with internal and external partners.
- Fluency in the English language with excellent written English skills. Additional European languages advantageous.
